Massage for a Clean Mind and Body

It’s the new year and most people are in the process of shaping up! You may be going to the gym more, eating fresh and healthy foods, drinking more water, and feeling good about the great weather soon to come. These great habits will help support a healthy body by eliminating toxins and preventing free radicals from doing further cell damage.

Massage will help support your spring cleaning efforts simply by increasing circulation. Blood not only takes away the build-up of toxins and waste released from storage in your skin and muscle tissue, but it supplies those tissues with fresh nutrients. Water, oxygen, vitamins, minerals and the healthy things you take in are directly delivered to those areas stimulated by massage. The attention given to trouble spots, like that knot in your neck, will help bring in more nutrients where they are lacking.

The oils used during a massage are also very beneficial. Grapeseed oil is primarily used at our center, it is full of essential fatty acids which are absorbed unto your skin and used in your body. They are known to keep the cardiovascular, nervous, immune and reproductive systems functioning properly and help to support your metabolism. Spring is around the corner, get ready for the great weather to come!
